Manton Thoroughbreds II 2017

We will be approaching this syndicate with the same mentality of racing to trade on. Now Manton Thoroughbreds has a brand of doing just this it makes us all the more approachable for trading.

With the syndicate being run with a style like no others simply as a portfolio of horses available at the right price and cutting our losses on those that don’t make the grade this make the syndicate exciting for all involved.

We have again bought 6 new Colts to go into training with International Group 1 winning trainer Brian Meehen to be trained at world renowned facility Manton.

The partnership will again be run by Sam Sangster who has worked with Brian for over 6 years on a number of successful projects.

Born To Sea x Lady's Locket

This colt looks a real athlete and will get to the track early. He is physically strong and has a great outlook to him. One would expect to see him at the track May/June. These winning horses at that time make good money for potential Royal Ascot runners.

Dutch Art x Madame Vestris

This Colt is by Dutch Art who statistically as a stallion is very impressive with a 40% winner to runner ratio with his two year olds and over all 56% winners to runners of all ages. The fact that he is out of a Galileo mare is a big bonus. Madame Vestris is also out of dual Group 1 winner Mrs Lindsay and also a half sister to Listed winner Mr Owen. A lot to boast about on the page.

Zoffany x Crying Aloud

This colt was very well bought with he sire having claimed yet another Group 1 winner in only his second season. He was leading rst season sire and is now leading second season sire a ‘Sire on Fire’. This colt is a cracking individual that could be anything early or mid season.

Acclamation x Madame Vestris

We had to give a bit more for this colt as he was just a standout individual. He is the rst foal out of a Stakes winning mare Viletta, the page shows a lot of black type. This colt may not be an early two year old but there will be no rush with him is one to really look forward to.

Royal Applause x Precious Secret

This colt looks hardy. He will take what is thrown at him. He may be more of a mid season type. His pedigree is rich in black type with his grandam Gharam a stakes winner herself and produced 11 winners , two of which are stakes performers.

Zebedee x Chica Whopa

Similar to the Born To Sea this colt looks like he could run tomorrow. He is sharp, athletic and by a sire who produces consistent two year old winners. His dam Chica Whopa was a good winner herself and this is only her 4th foal.
